Corrections Policy
This Corrections Policy explains how BBO Marketing identifies, reviews, and updates published content when needed. Accuracy, transparency, and accountability guide every correction we make.
We strive to ensure all published information is factually correct, thoroughly researched, and contextually accurate. Every article, insight, tutorial, case study, or downloadable resource undergoes review before publishing. However, the nature of digital marketing, trends, platform algorithms, and data changes rapidly. When new information becomes available or a reader identifies an inaccuracy, we welcome the opportunity to improve our content.
Corrections may originate internally through our editorial team or externally through user submissions. Internal corrections occur when we discover information that has become outdated or needs refinement. External corrections occur when a user contacts us with evidence that content requires review. We encourage responsible reporting of inaccuracies and ask users to reference the specific section and provide source material, if applicable.
Each correction request is reviewed by our editorial lead or a subject-matter specialist. We investigate the concern using credible and authoritative sources and cross-reference findings against our internal research standards. We act only on verified corrections. Editorial independence remains intact throughout, and we do not modify content to satisfy personal opinions, competitive motivations, or commercial influence. Our verification process aligns with our Verification & Fact-Checking Policy.
If a correction is validated, we update the content immediately. Significant changes that influence interpretation or decision-making are accompanied by an update note added at the bottom of the page, along with a revised date. Minor corrections for grammar, formatting, or readability may not display an update log. All corrections are stored in our internal changelog to maintain accountability and improvement.
Corrections are based solely on accuracy, not persuasion. We do not accept correction requests intended to manipulate editorial direction, tone, or representation. Commercial partnerships, affiliate programs, brand sponsorships, or agency relationships do not influence correction decisions. Our neutrality is backed by our Ethics & Code of Conduct Policy.
